چکیده
IP real-time multimedia applications present a challenging environment for network and service management, which requires a new approach. DYSWIS (Do You See What I See), proposed in this paper, is peer-to-peer distributed management architecture for multimedia network and service management, characteristic of active fault probing and identification based on protocol and functional scripting and rules.

The Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) is the multimedia communication protocol of the future. Used for Voice-over-IP (VoIP), Internet Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) and Internet Protocol Television (IPTV), its concepts are based on mature and open standards and its use is increasing rapidly within recent years. However, with its acceptance as a mainstream communication platform, security concerns b...
متن کاملEnabling SIP-Based Session Setup in Ad Hoc Networks
The deployment of infrastructure-less ad hoc networks is suffering from the lack of applications inspite of active research over a decade. This problem can be alleviated by porting successful legacy Internet applications and protocols to the ad hoc network domain. Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) is designed to provide the signaling support to multimedia applications such as Voice over IP (VoI...
